Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG unit of Reliance Industries, has launched its Campa soft drink brand in Nepal. The company is partnering with Nepal’s Chaudhary Group (CG) for local production and distribution.
This move marks RCPL’s foray into Nepal’s food and beverage sector, with the initial rollout featuring a variety of products like Campa Cola, Campa Lemon, Campa Orange, Campa Energy Gold Boost, and Campa Energy Berry Kick. The collaboration ensures that these beverages will be produced and distributed within Nepal, streamlining supply chain operations and increasing market accessibility.
Campa, originally an Indian brand with over five decades of history, was acquired by Reliance in 2022 and reintroduced in India in 2023. Since then, the brand has expanded beyond India, launching in the UAE, Oman, and Bahrain. With Nepal now added to its portfolio, RCPL continues to strengthen its international presence.
Ketan Mody, Executive Director of RCPL, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “We are delighted to bring Campa to Nepal in collaboration with our esteemed partner, Chaudhary Group. This step is part of our long-term vision to invest in the region and offer high-quality, affordable products to consumers.”
Chaudhary Group, known globally for its iconic Wai Wai noodle brand and operating over 200 companies across sectors such as food and beverage, finance, education, infrastructure, and real estate, views this partnership as a strategic expansion of its beverage offerings.
“We’re excited to join forces with Reliance to introduce Campa to the Nepali market,” said Nirvana Chaudhary, Managing Director of CG. “The brand’s legacy and unique flavors are well-positioned to appeal to local preferences, and this alliance further solidifies our standing in the competitive beverage industry.”
