The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has listed the 100% right shares of Sagarmatha Jalbidhyut Company Limited (SMJC) in its pipeline under preliminary review. The proposal was submitted on Jestha 22, 2082.
Sagarmatha Jalbidhyut is seeking to raise capital by issuing 11,732,000 units of right shares in a 1:1 ratio, amounting to Rs. 1.17 Arba. These shares will be available exclusively to existing shareholders.
Currently, the company’s paid-up capital stands at Rs. 1.17 Arba, which will double to Rs. 2.34 Arba following the successful issuance and adjustment of the proposed right shares.
NMB Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the offering.
