Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Announces Dividend & Proposes Right Share
Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (SNLI) proposes to distribute 25.0526% dividend and 27% right shares to its shareholders for the fiscal year 2079/80. The life insurance company has proposed to distribute 23.8 percent bonus share and 1.2526 percent cash dividend.
The meeting of the board of directors of SNLI held on 23 February, 2024 has decided to distribute dividend equivalent to Rs. 80 crores. After the adjustment of its 25.0526 percent dividend, Sun Nepal Life Insurance will issue 27 percent right shares in order to meet the minimum capital requirement of 5 billion as mandated by Nepal Insurance Authority.
The current paid up capital of company stands at Rs 3.20 billion and has 32,000,000 unit shares listed in Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). Sun Nepal Life Insurance is traded as SNLI in NEPSE and is currently trading at Rs. 571 per share on 23 February, 2024.
