United Ajod Insurance Proposes 10.5263% Dividend for Fiscal Year 2080/81
United Ajod Insurance Limited (UAIL) has announced its dividend proposal for the fiscal year 2080/81. According to the company’s notice published after its board meeting held on June 18, 2025, UAIL has proposed a total dividend of 10.5263%, which includes a 10% bonus share and an additional 0.5263% cash dividend for tax purposes.
The dividend distribution is, however, subject to approval from the Insurance Regulatory Authority and the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). If approved, shareholders listed before the book closure date will be eligible to receive the declared dividend. The bonus shares will be added to shareholders’ holdings, while the cash portion will help them cover the tax liabilities arising from the bonus distribution.
United Ajod Insurance, formed through the merger of United Insurance and Ajod Insurance, has been working to strengthen its market position and financial stability post-merger.
